Represents a new age in High power LED floodlighting. It's now able to provide the same light output with none of the drawbacks commonly associated with halogen, providing excellent performance and a notably shadow-free illumination.
Manufactured in robust aluminium casing, these are IP65 rated (water and rust resistant) and covered by a 2 year warranty. Fitted with a universal ballast, they can operate from a 90v-240v power source. Using LED means no replacement bulbs are required, and they offer a 500% increase in output per watt when compared to incandescent lights.
Fitted with motion senor PIR,an ideal security light. Using only 10% of the energy of a Halogen equivalent, switching to LED means a payback period in under 6 months. LEDs offer 50,000h lifetime, meaning no replacement bulbs or maintenance costs.
The PIR has a detection distance of up to 12m and an 180° angle with time & sensitivity adjustment. The adjustable bracket allows for various light positioning.
PIR option is available for 10W, 30W and 50W.
PIR SENSOR
The sensor may be angled independently of the light, mounted at approximately 2.5m above the ground the sensor will have approx 12m range with a 120°-180°spread.
- The sensor range can be reduced or optically adapted to local conditions by adjusting the sensor angle accordingly.
- The sensitivity is far greater when an object passes across the detection area than when an object approaches towards the detector.
- Further adjustment may be made by tuning the three switches located on the underside of the sensor as follows:
Switch 1. SENSITIVITY- 30W/50W ONLY
- The sensor range will vary with temperature and factors such as passing cars, shade from large trees etc.
- During cold weather the sensor range will be greater than when hot in summer temperatures. For example during hot weather the forward detection range could fall from 12 to 6m and as such the sensor should be checked and adjusted.
Switch 2. TIME ADJUSTER- 10W/30W/50W
- To adjust the amount of time the light will illuminate when activated. Min. 6 seconds / max. 20 minutes.
Switch 3. DAYLIGHT ADJUSTMENT - 10W/30W/50W
- To adjust the sensor to come on in accordance with the diminishing daylight. From 0 to 30 LUX.
